Description: this is one of Jim Comstock’s darkest reds. The flower opens dark orange with a yellow throat that flushes dark red. Considered to be darker than the red Clivia sold in America as FLAME. Florets are narrow trumpet shaped with good overlap of tepals. It was bred from a variegated plant and it shows faint variegation in the leaves.
