Description: A plant purchased at a local nursery by Harold Koopowitz that looks like it may be a second generation C. x cyrtanthiflora or possibly a backcross of C. x cyrtanthiflora with Clivia miniata. Each of the slightly curved flowers is 5cm long with a 2.5cm diameter mouth. The buds open a pale orange-yellow, and as the flower matures the outer tepals turn darker orange and the inner tepals a paler orange. The inside flower colour remains a fresh lemon yellow with a faint orange blush. As many as 25 pendent flowers are carried on a 42.5cm tall umbel held clear of the arching foliage. Leaves are narrow being just over 2.5cm wide and approx. 62cm long. See pages 313 and 316 of “Clivias” by Harold Koopowitz.
