Cultivar Information
Cultivar Name: Satin Dream
Species: Clivia miniata
Breeder:
Record: Registered Cultivar
Description: Registered Cultivar: A selection named by Johan Conradie. This plant, which was purchased from Margot McNeil about 1992, was given the code T11. The plant produces light pastel apricot flowers with a crystalline effect on the tepals and a darker “halo” about the white throat. Flowers are held in a full posy like umbel. The name comes from the allusion to satin created by the flower colour and the crystalline effect.
