Description: Registered Cultivar: A robust plant grown and named by Alick McLeman from a ‘Chubbs Peach’ plant. The name refers to the surprise at seeing the flower colour from an intended peach breeding. Foliage is typical C. miniata narrow, straplike. This plant is notable for the big umbel of well spread, large orange flowers with red overtones giving a very attractive terracotta effect. Each flower has lovely recurved tepals and are widely spaced on the umbel giving a pleasing effect.
