Description: Registered Cultivar: This is a miniata-like interspecific grown and named by John van der Linde. It is from a [‘Katy D’ X x cyrtanthiflora] selfed breeding. Flowers are a pale orange tangerine colour (32 on Cape Colour Chart 2nd Ed.) that are lighter towards the tips (84 on chart). Flowers darken with age to (14 on chart) outside and (70 on chart) inside, with the tip of petals (48 on chart). The tepals are thick and waxy. Flowers are 4.5cm across the open mouth and include stamens and stigma. Peduncle is 22cm high. Longest leaf is 53cm x 5cm wide. Ovaries are tangerine. Good pollen production but it appears to be sterile.
