Cultivar Information
Cultivar Name: Apricot Parfait
Species: Clivia miniata
Breeder: Mike Christie
Record: For reference (Checklist)
Description: An exceptional example of the ‘Cameron Peach’ form, selected by Alick McLeman and named for the “fruit salad” appearance of the umbel as the flowers age. Seed was obtained from the KZN Seed Bank. The plant has the typical broad foliage and compact growth of the Belgian Hybrids. Apricot flowers are held in a very full umbel. Each flower has wide, symmetrical tepals. The open flowers give the “yesterday, today and tommorrow” appearance as different colour shades are seen as the flowers in the umbel age at different rates.
