Cultivar Information
Cultivar Name: Bridal Wreath
Species: Clivia miniata
Breeder: Pen Henry
Record: For reference (Checklist)
Description: This plant was grown and named by Alick McLeman from seed received as a gift from Pen Henry in Perth, WA. The name refers to the delicate pinkish peach bouquet effect of the full umbel. The foliage is typical C. miniata with straplike leaves a little wider than the norm. The umbel is well rounded and each flower opens with a peach blush that darkens with age. The breeding background has Group 1 yellow in it. Was provisionally named Blushing Bride by Alick until registered as ‘Bridal Wreath’.
