Description: This was such an amazing plant when it flowered for the first time. It opens yellow with dark blushed cheeks. The inside fades to a creamy yellow as she matures. We have named her “The American Dream” which is described in google as follows:
” the ideal that every citizen should have an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through hard work, determination, and initiative.”
Clivia breeding takes time, hard work, determination and initiative. This plant forms part of our “Dream Series”. These have definitely put interspecific flowers way ahead of miniatas for us.
