Ciskei Cherry Red

Description

Registered Cultivar. A habitat selection of C. nobilis that was collected in the Fish River area in 2003 and named for the cherry like colour of the flowers. Plant height is 450mm with a leaf length of 420mm and a width of 35mm. The plant grows well offsets are easily produced and the flowers pollinate easily. The pendulous blooms are a deep red (OR2) on Cape Clivia Colour Chart of 2003. It is from the most southern area of distribution for the species C. nobilis.
