Registered cultivar
Elise
Clivia miniata · from tip of tepal pink, white, yellow · United States of America
Reference: LF/2025
Description
This Clivia first bloomed in June 2025 while the majority of my Clivias bloom February/March. The large umbel number of recurved florets and the colour from the tip of the tepal to the center is pink, white, yellow and make a stunning pattern. I named it after my granddaughter, Elise, who wears a lot of pink clothing. It will be entered in the October SA Clivia Photo Competition but bloomed too late for the NACS Virtual Clivia Show. This cross produced 4 Clivia, one an excellent compact yellow another a not very good yellow and another a very special one similar to the submission and also very nice with tepals even more recurved. I was pleased with this hybrid since I have visited both with Dave Conway and Sean Chubb in the past.
