Description
Registered Cultivar: A selection made by Gerhard Faber of a dark yellow flowered C. mirabilis from the Klein Kobee, Vanrhynsdorp area in South Africa. This blushing beauty is named for his wife, Karen. Rigid and thick upright leaves without the white median stripe. A sturdy pale green peduncle holds a magnificent head of dark yellow flowers. Each flower has a green hue at the tepal tips. Ovaries are butter yellow which enhance the overall yellow tones. Flowers take on a delicate blush colouration as they age. This plant produces offsets.
