Description

Registered Cultivar: This is the fifth cultivar released from the Longwood Gardens breeding program. Longwood Gardens accession number 2007-0195. Parentage of this plant is unknown. The public release was announced in March, at the 2017 NACS International Event held at the Huntington. Large salmon flowers with slightly overlapping tepals that are reflexed and framed by a thin, dark-orange picotee edge. Plant height 62-78cm tall. Leaves 46-53cm long and 30-60mm wide, dark olive green (RHS Fan 3 Yellow Green group 147A, Clivia Colour Chart II Swatch 10/91). Scapes 52-64cm long. Umbels 20-27cm wide, 9-17 flowers. Flowers 9.5-11.5cm wide, 8-10cm long, reflexed. Pedicels 3-6cm long. Tepals overlapping from the base, oblanceolate. Tepal margins entire, slightly revolute. Inner tepals have rounded tip, outer tepals have a mucronate tip. Inner tepals 70-80mm long by 30-35mm wide and outer tepals 75-85mm long by 25-27mm wide. Inner surface of tepals transitions from RHS Fan 1 Yellow group 6A (Clivia Colour Chart II Swatch 9/87) and RHS Fan 4 Orange-White group 159C (Clivia Colour Chart II Swatch 4/40) along the midrib to RHS Fan 1 Orange-Red group 32C (Clivia Colour Chart II Swatch 4/35) along the margin. Tepals outlined by a 0.5-0.75mm wide picotee, RHS Fan 1 Orange-Red group 33A (Clivia Colour Chart II Swatch 2/15). Light, pleasant fragrance. It received a 2nd place and a 3rd place ribbon at the 2013 Show.
