Description

Registered Cultivar: This plant was habitat collected by Luke and his father in the KwaDukuza area of South Africa in 2001. It is a truly amazing plant that produces spectacular blooms. The large umbel is between 350-400mm diameter and holds semi-spider orange flowers with a large white throat. Each flower is approx. 130mm diameter and the petals are twisted. Foliage is semi-broad 70-80mm wide. The plant selfs easily and when pollen is used on other Clivias the seed count is high. Luke's dad named it for Luke as it was a very special plant found when he was only ten years old. This plant received the "Best Amateur on Show" at the 2009 KZN Clivia Club Show. The breeding results from this plant will be watched with interest!!
