Peter Marten

Description

Registered Cultivar. A selection bred and grown by Jeanne Marten in Toowoomba, using a Cowlishaw hybrid as the berry parent pollinated with 'Vico Yellow'. It is named after the breeder's son, Peter. Plant spread is 1m x 60cm high, producing a symmetrical fan of leaves. Leaf length is approx. 750mm x a width of 80mm. The orange flowers are 10cm diameter and held on a peduncle 65cm high. The orange colour is between Orange Red (OR3) and Bronze (OR5) on the Cape Clivia Colour Chart 2003.
