Description

Registered Cultivar: A selection by Gideon and Teresa Scheepers, named for the joy expressed by Teresa when the plant first flowered. The plant was grown from a batch of seedlings originally from a plant marked as "Wit Blits", which was pollinated with a cream sibling. Many seedlings out of this cross have light peduncles and pedicels, pale green leaves and near white, cream or translucent papaya flowers. The flowers are a translucent Papaya colour, with light creamy peduncles and pinkish pedicels. The mid green leaves range from 32 to 46mm wide and approx. 500mm long. Peduncle length is 280mm and pedicels are 20mm long. It is a sibling to 'White Lightning' and 'Genevieve's Cream'.
